WAMMA Brandon welcomes all friendly individuals with a desire to learn to our dojo. We have all fitness and skill levels, weight classes, and gender identifies.
Adults & Teens can join us for weekly instructor led group classes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Muay Thai, MMA (mixed martial arts), and practical self defense.
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu

BJJ revolves around the concept that a smaller, weaker person can successfully defend themselves against a bigger, stronger, heavier opponent by using leverage and weight distribution, taking the fight to the ground, and using a number of chokeholds and joint lock submissions to defeat the opponent. Often described as the “gentle art” Jiu Jitsu is an intense grappling sport with practical application for self defense.
Muay Thai
Thai Boxing is a powerful combat sport that is often referred to as the “art of eight limbs.” Muay Thai is characterized by the combined use of fists, elbows, knees, and shins along with various clinching and tripping techniques.
Mixed Martial Arts
This is where we bring it all together. MMA is a full-contact combat sport that includes stand up striking, take downs and throws, and ground fighting with striking and submissions.
Seasonal Training Schedule
Our Coach & Instructor Team's availability changes seasonally. Students can expect more group classes during the late Fall / Winter months - and reduced schedule during the late Spring / Summer months. We aim to provide as much notice of schedule changes as possible. Thank you for understanding!
